Full Name: Callista RoseWolf
Nicknames: Cal
Position: Transfiguration Professor, Head of Gryffindor
Length of Employment: 7 years
Age: 32
Birthday: September 29, Sun sign: Libra, Rising sign: Gemini
Ethnicity: ¾ British, ¼ Irish
Bloodline: Half-Blood
Current Residence: Hemsby, Norfolk, England
~+Physical Statistics+~
Height: 5’7”
Weight: 130 lbs.
Hair Color and Style: Long, dark brown curls fall down her back, almost to her waist, and in certain light seems to have a reddish tint to it. However, she almost always clips it into a messy bun to keep it out of her face. Only when she dresses up for formal occasions does she let her hair down, literally and figuratively.
Eyes: She has almond-shaped, brilliant green eyes that are full of warmth and understanding (unless caught while she’s in a particularly foul mood, when her eyes are instead narrowed in annoyance). They are topped with elegantly arched eyebrows that are just as expressive as her eyes.
Face: Her face is bright and cheerful, always with a smile. Her skin is light but not sickly pale, and she has full, shapely lips.
Figure: Callista is a very pretty woman, though she is modest. She rarely wears makeup, though it isn’t necessary because she has naturally beautiful skin and facial features. She’s slightly above average in height for a woman, with a nice, slim build and an average B-cup bust.
Tattoos, Scars, and Distinguishing Features: She has a burn scar on her lower back that resulted from a minor accident when she was seven. She was on a camping trip with her cousins and, well, fire doesn't mix well with children, it seems.
Jewelry: Callista doesn’t fuss with jewelry very often, only when she has to get dressed up for something or other. She does, however, regularly wear a pair of small silver hoop earrings.
Clothing Style: Professional. Rarely will she be caught in a pair of jeans or a hooded sweatshirt. At school, she’s usually in simple black robes over a classy, professional outfit.
~+Personality Statistics+~
Interaction: Callista likes most people and tolerates the rest, even the rudest and most unruly students (though a detention may be in order for those cases... after all, children won't learn if they aren't disciplined in some manner). The only time she shows animosity is if someone is being extremely inappropriate or inconsiderate, though she tries to give people second chances because she believes that everyone can learn from their mistakes. Unfortunately, she can be a little too trusting at times because of this, giving the benefit of a doubt to some people who just don't deserve it.
Most regard her as a very kind person albeit somewhat firm in the classroom given the difficulty of her subject. She’s just one of those professors you either love or hate. She is, however, extremely fair in the way she deals with students, never favoring her own house over the others. Her teaching manner is strict, though, and she doesn't tolerate immature behavior in the classroom.
Inner Being: Alone, she is a quiet person who likes reading and listening to calming music, usually classical symphonies or nature sounds. She is a peaceful soul who dislikes conflict. While around people, on the other hand, she puts up an invisible wall around herself that prevents people from getting too close to her emotionally. She also feels that it is her responsibility to be a role model for the students.
Intelligence: Callista is a brilliant woman, quick-witted and willing to learn. She has excessive stores of common sense, and even under pressure manages to keep her cool. She is more than just “book-smart;” Callista is very good at applying what she learns to any situation that arises. The only mental capacity that she is somewhat lacking in is memorizing details (in school, History of Magic was the only subject that she didn’t get top grades in).
Fears: Never being able to start a family of her own. It has been her dream ever since she was little to get married and have children, live in a quaint country house with a white picket fence and a garden... The dream has changed slightly over time (the picket fence is now optional), but she’s afraid that she’s getting too old for it to come to fruition.
Goals: To start a family; to pass on her knowledge and talents to the next generation; to teach her students respect, honesty, bravery, and chivalry.
Good Characteristics: Loyal, brave, kind, caring, patient, polite, fun-loving, peaceful, protective, reliable, witty, respectful, responsible, honest, brilliant
Bad Characteristics: Territorial, disorganized, has a bad temper when she lets it loose, reckless at times, not very trusting
Secrets: She has never been intimate with a man before.
Likes: Gardening, literature, teaching, honesty, loyalty, courage, humor, chivalry
Dislikes: Cowards, liars, manipulation, people who take advantage of others
~+Abilities and Possessions+~
Special Abilities: She is a skilled Legilimens and Occlumens. Her Patronus/Animagus form is a black panther (she can produce a corporeal Patronus and she is a registered Animagus). Her mark is the scar on her back. She can also Apparate.
Magical Strengths: Transfiguration, charms, herbology, and magic that requires extensive mental capabilities
Magical Weaknesses: Divination, astronomy, history of magic, and the Dark Arts
Other Abilities: Callista can live without problem in the Muggle world.
Wand Properties: 9¾ inches, cedar, core of ashwinder ash, sturdy
Possessions: Pensieve
~+History and Family Information+~
Family: Callista is a half-blood, her magical heritage coming from her mother’s side. She takes after her father, Brian, who is an English teacher at the local Muggle high school. Her mother, Constantina, is an artist, specializing in portraits.
Pets: She has a three-year-old black and white cat named Rufus, and a gorgeous white owl named Moonlight.
History: Callista was born in the little village of Hemsby and has lived there for her entire life (outside of the ten months she spends at Hogwarts during the year). Her childhood was a happy one, full of laughter and smiles and all that good stuff. She was a friendly child, liked by her neighbors and spoiled slightly by her parents, perhaps due to the fact that she was an only child and they had no other children to dote upon. Her parents taught her at an early age to never change herself to please others and not to judge others, but to love them for who they are. They instilled in her a strong sense of honesty, bravery, and a love of learning.
She was also taught to have a strong sense of loyalty toward family and close friends, but this was put to the test while she was at school. Callista was head over heels for a boy (of course, a young teenage tragedy concerning a boy) named Shaun when she was in her second year at Hogwarts. The two became very close over the next two years and finally started dating. However, he broke her heart when she found him snogging her best friend Charlotte on the common room sofa. A double betrayal. It seemed she had lost all ability to trust after that, and it took a very long time for her to learn how to have faith in anyone after that.
She was a Gryffindor prefect when she became a fifth year at Hogwarts, but turned down the opportunity to become Head Girl in her seventh year due to a very hectic class schedule and extracurriculars. After graduating with flying colors at the age of 18, she studied English literature and theater for three years at the University of East London before graduating early and starting her teaching career as English teacher at the school where her father worked. She was employed there for four years before being offered a job as Transfiguration professor at Hogwarts, which she gladly accepted.

Classroom Description: It is a very large room with high windows lining the front and left walls (from the student's perspective). There are three rows of desks, single-file, that extend to the back of the room, more than enough to accommodate even the larger classes. Several cages hang from pegs along the right wall, used to hold animals for the classes who have advanced to animal transfiguration. Along the left wall is a row of bookcases, filled with books (both spare copies of the assigned textbooks and Callista's own collection of optional reading for those who are interested). The front of the room is taken up by a dark wooden desk, which is usually empty save for a bottle of ink, quill, and spare parchment, and there are two chalkboards on either side of the desk.
Office Description: To the left, as you enter the door, there are several pegs on the wall, and a black cloak is hanging off one of them. On a shelf above the pegs rests a witch's hat and a pair of formal dressy shoes. In the center of the room is a very old desk; on it are several neat stacks of parchments (some for grading and others to be mailed), a bottle of plain black ink, an eagle feather quill, and seals with wax for sending mail. Two chairs are placed in front of the desk for students to sit in while meeting with Callista. Behind the desk is a fireplace with an iron tea kettle sitting on an arm over the flames, and a cushioned chair with a small table are before it.
