It is a very large room with high windows lining the front and left walls (from the student's perspective). There are three rows of desks, single-file, that extend to the back of the room, more than enough to accommodate even the larger classes. Several cages hang from pegs along the right wall, used to hold animals for the classes who have advanced to animal transfiguration. Along the left wall is a row of bookcases, filled with books (both spare copies of the assigned textbooks and Callista's own collection of optional reading for those who are interested). The front of the room is taken up by a dark wooden desk, which is usually empty save for a bottle of ink, quill, and spare parchment, and there are two chalkboards on either side of the desk.
