Player Name: Cassie
Activity Level: Medium-High
Other Characters: Rena, Rosenthorn, Hatsuharu
~+Basic Statistics+~
Full Name: Kane Kaiser Kirpatrick
Nicknames: None. Call Kane a nickname and die horribly.
Year: 7th
Age: 17
Birthday: March 30th
Classes: Arithmancy, Care of Magical Creatures, Charms, Defense Against the Dark Arts, Herbology, Potions, Transfiguration
Quidditch: No
Clubs: Head Boy
Ethnicity: British
Bloodline: Pureblood
Current Residence: There is a large mansion somewhere out in the middle of the British Isle where he and his family live. It has been in the family for generations, and it is in his father's will as something that will belong to Kane when his father passes away.
~+Physical Statistics+~
Height: 6'1"
Weight: 158 lbs.
Hair Color and Style: His hair is dark brown, nearing black, and, though it has a little length to it, it is still slightly short.
Eyes: His eyes are a dusky green, almost moss, but sometimes flicker to slightly more subtler colors when his mood changes.
Face: He has an incredibly masculine face, with a slightly rounded nose. His complexion is that of a slightly pale Caucasian man, going in perfectly with the rest of his features.
Figure: His figure is medium. He has a bit of meat on his bones, but not enough to qualify for 'fat.'
Tattoos, Scars, and Distinguishing Features: No scars. He has a tattoo of a Hungarian Horntail on his right arm, a sign of manhood to his father, and a strange birthmark on his left shoulder blade that seems to remind people of the Grim, or something equally as abysmal. He just calls it a rather funny blob.
Jewelry: None
Clothing Style: Prim and proper is the style of clothing he wears. Always in with the latest wizarding fashion, Kane never skips a beat in the 'looking good' department, no matter how many times he says he does not care. He also wears a black velvet cloak lined in emerald green silk, an heirloom his father thought he would never have to dig out until Kane needed it. It seems to fit school regulations perfectly.
~+Personality Statistics+~
Interaction: He does not talk to people, unless he feels the sudden need to or he wants to shoo them away from his general person. He is a rather insulting man to be around, tending for the tactless, anti-social route as opposed to the route that might mean anything in regards to social interaction of the friendly sort. It is also painstakingly clear to anyone around him that he probably does not want to talk to them.
When he does want to be social (hardly ever if at that), he turns out to be a great troublemaker, unable to contain himself from the occasional prank or two. Though he does tend to keep a stoic attitude about the whole thing, some people (mostly students in his year) find themselves victim to a prank every now and again, something he takes great pride in despite his dignity.
He is defined as a great leader to some extent, by people who are either crazy, drunk, or teachers. He does have that sort of quality, if he ever decides to pull it out, managing to lead people through various class projects and group work when the need arises.
Inner Being: He is an extremely egotistical, self-centered boy. Rarely is there a moment when he thinks that his solution is not going to work, and, when he does finally admit it, he is still of the impression that his solution is going to be the best, regardless of whatever else is in front of him. However, he keeps most of this pigheaded behavior to himself, seeing it as barbaric to even think such thoughts and instead opting for the occasional snort of disapproval, which he does quite often.
Despite his egotistical behavior and rich upbringing, he finds himself unable to be satisfied with the girl he is betrothed to, and wishes for someone else to fill the role of his bride-to-be. Though the girl he is betrothed to is yes, everything his parents see in a woman, he knows much better than to think that she is just going to be the wife he is looking for. He does not want an arm trophy, he wants someone with a little more intelligence and a little less.... well.... uppity rich brat to them. It is almost as if he wants himself to have a different experience than the rich one.
Intelligence: If Kane was not intelligent, he would not be able to support his own theories about subjects. Intelligent he is, to go right along with that inflamed head. Pretty much any subject he touches is something he finds either incredibly simplistic or just not challenging enough. Excelling in just about everything other than the advanced art of 'Crystal Ball Gawking' as he so haughtily puts it, the world has suddenly become rather boring to him, and, until he can travel the world to learn new facts and pieces from other forms of learning than class, he feels that everyone else is below him.
Fears: He fears very little, at least other than being married off to that strange rich girl that seems to think that their marriage is the only option for her.
Goals: Obtaining a girl that is not his betrothed is his ultimate goal, followed closely behind with having two children to satisfy his parents' want for grandchildren before they die.
Good Characteristics: Intelligent, Cunning, Resourceful, Natural Leader
Bad Characteristics: Impatient, Anti-social, Egotistical, Tactless, Slightly a Bully, Stubborn, Arrogant, Bigoted
Secrets: He does not like who he is betrothed to, and he seems to be rather good at hiding it.
Likes: Purebloods, Freedom, the Restricted Section, Learning new ways to move about the school
Dislikes: Muggleborns (the term 'Mudblood' is incredibly barbaric), Sometimes Half-bloods, Professor Rosenthorn, Hufflepuffs (especially the crazy ones), the one he is betrothed to, his parents and their beliefs (terribly accepting folk), Muggles, Muggle objects, and pretty much anything that is not in his likes list.
~+Abilities and Possessions+~
Special Abilities: He has a private tutor for Occlumency and Legimancy, knows how to conjure a corporeal Patronus but has not managed to do so for quite awhile. His Animagus form is 'in process,' but he has been able to see some parts of his form come out. During his practices, he has managed to create multiple arms and eyes, so he can only surmise it has to be some sort of multi-armed, multi-eyed Polyclops or something of that sort (Truly, it is an Acromantula).
Magical Strengths: He excels greatly at Potions work, Transfiguration, Charms, and Arithmancy. He also knows how to ride horses and various other random magical creatures. He also has a mite bit of experience with the Dark Arts, though that does not seem to be all that surprising for someone like him.
Magical Weaknesses: Divination is his horrid downside, as well as pretty much anything like 'Muggle Studies,' or magicked Muggle items. Rightfully so, his father thinks cars should be mass produced to fly so that they can get around faster. He just thinks Muggle items are as barbaric as the rest of it.
Other Abilities: Despite his hatred of most Muggle things, he can defend himself against most Muggle attacks. He has dabbled in a bit of martial arts. Not a whole lot, but enough to protect himself, and give himself a little edge against another wizard or witch who may not know that kind of ability. He can also ride just about any manner of creature that his mother has taken care of, and is big enough to take his weight.
Wand Properties: 12'', Ebony wood, inflexible, with a core of Runespoor Fang
Possessions: He owns so many random objects, not even he can keep that much stock of them. Needless to say, if he needs it or has ever had the desire for it, he probably has it. He is a rich boy after all.
~+History and Family Information+~
Family: His parents are Angelina and Xavier Kirpatrick, both of pureblood lineage of some sort. Angelina is a sort of magical creature veterinarian, who takes care of all sorts of random creatures. His father is a very much retired man, who used to work in the Ministry as a sort of ambassador to the other Ministries.
Pets: He owns a Jarvey that calls itself Rex, and tends to make quite a bit of fun of anyone that it eyes, except for Kane. Somehow, Kane trained the creature to not do such a thing.
History: Kane Kirpatrick came from an extremely long, pure blooded line of wizards and witches. It was excepted of him that, when he turned eleven, he would drop everything and go to Hogwarts for, as he was a pure blood child, he had to have some extraordinary abilities in him. He was tutored at a young age, accelerating his learning almost too much, but his father insisted that he start his education at the age of eleven as opposed to any earlier, as Kane would have wanted it to be. His life beforehand was, at best, slow, and unexciting. His parents did take him all over the world, in another attempt to enrich his education, at least, before he even got to it, but that too proved to be incredibly boring to Kane, as his parents were holding on to him like he was a little puppy.
Life as a first year at Hogwarts was nothing to shake a stick at either. Everyone was either too dumb to understand, or just not worth his time at all. Mostly just not worth his time though, seeing as they were not as prestigious as his family was. When he returned home that summer, he went to the country of China, to study up on some exotic breed of dragon... The second and third years of his school life seemed to drag on in just as boring a manner, seeing as there was nothing to do... whether he already knew about it or not.
When he got his cloak, everything seemed to change. The cloak was a wonderful tool for him to use, as if saying 'yes, yes I am made of money,' even though the cloak was just a family heirloom, and its price was probably about the same as the Nimbus 2000 at the time. Regardless, it was and has been the only material possession Kane has treasured, and, once he obtained it, his school life changed too.
Though he still thought everyone was still extremely dull and not worth any of his time, he became more fascinated with the inner workings of the magickal arts, going so much as to tolerating the other people around him during class time. When he went on his trips around the world, he adventured further than his parents ever hoped he would, finding out quite a bit about... well, just about anything he could get his hands on.
He was betrothed to a girl at the end of his fifth year, and, though he really hates her, he will tolerate her existence from time to time. Regardless, she is a waste of his precious time, and, as the agreement between him and his father went; if he does not find another girl by the end of his seventh year, he is indeed stuck with this one.
So not only does his search for the end of the year begin now, but so does his girl search...
