~+Physical Statistics+~
Height: 5'5"
Weight: 136 lbs.
Hair Color and Style: Rena has naturally black hair that is pin straight and highlighted a deep brown. It ends well below her neck level.
Eyes: Dark, deep brown
Face: She has a soft face, with semi-feminine features. However, she is easily mistaken for a boy when her hair is either put up in a ponytail, or she decides it needs to be hacked off for a bit.
Figure: Rena is a mildly skinny girl, with a slightly 'lanky' figure. It is also a bit of a boyish figure as well, but keeps
Tattoos, Scars, and Distinguishing Features: She has very little scars of note, just those random stray scars that are from flying and just being a student in general.
Jewelry:None.
Clothing Style: Relatively conservative. Usually, she is seen in a highly spirited form of school attire, opting to wear red, gold, and black whenever she has the chance to, but will usually wear clothing of neutral tones when she does not have to wear her school uniform. Whatever her ensemble, she usually wears a pair of ankle high, black boots.
~+Personality Statistics+~
Interaction: Rena tends to be a smidgen on the quiet side around others, at least the ones she does not speak with on a normal basis. She is not the shy or mousy sort of girl, but she does have an aversion to talking with others without a good reason. Many just see her as a level-headed, quiet girl who just does not want to be a part of social interaction. However, Rena is slave to the human condition like anyone else, and does like making friends, so when people attempt to start a conversation with her, she will not opt to sneer or shoo them away (unless she has a good reason). Instead, she will participate in the conversation, but the person who initiated it has to clearly want her attention.
When she does make friends, she shows a much more outgoing side, though she can keep quiet when she wants to. Friends would know her as someone who just did not have enough fun as a young child, and someone who tries to unleash her inner child whenever she gets a chance to do so, now that her mother does not have a hovering eye over her.
Inner Being: She tends towards awkward, clumsy dorkiness every so often, as she has just barely grown into her much more womanly form. However, around people she usually tends to cover it up with her 'cool' exterior. If one were to, for example, see Rena tripping over her own two feet, which she does often, she makes it seem very much like she meant to do that, as opposed to something where she just did not know where she was going.
She is also extremely self-conscious. This might be because she has surrounded herself by people who are just all around better than her (at least, that is how she thinks about it), but it might have something to do with her sheer inability to think that anything she does is going to be good enough to her mother, who just puts much too much pressure on academics for Rena to feel anywhere near comfortable with it.
Intelligence: Though she does have quite the ability to pull off incredibly decent academic achievements, and does she ever have the OWL grades to prove as such, she puts her focus on what she thinks is much more important; Auror training and practicing Quidditch. There is a large amount of knowledge that she holds for the specific subjects that involve either being an Auror or a Quidditch player, and, though she has the capability for more, she sticks to her tunnel vision of academic subjects and tends to stick to it.
Fears: She fears that her birth parents were Death Eaters, or nothing short of horrible, horrible people, losing mobility in quite a few of her extremities. She also fears extremely scary ghosts and just about every nature of snake.
Goals: She does wish to become either an Auror or a professional Quidditch player. Otherwise, her goals are extremely short term and not worth notation at best.
Good Characteristics: Patient, Studious (when she wants to be), Motherly, Protective, Responsible, Dorky, Friendly (When she is poked)
Bad Characteristics: Shy, Apathetic at times, Overly Anxious, Slightly Rebellious, Stubborn, Slightly Oblivious, Low Self-Esteem
Secrets: She keeps the fact that she is an adopted child a secret to those she can keep it a secret to, just in case.
Likes: Charms, Transfiguration, Quidditch, Reading
Dislikes: History, horribly rude people, her mother's overbearing nature
~+Abilities and Possessions+~
Special Abilities: She is a Parselmouth, something she is oblivious on right about now. Her Animagus/Patronus form seems to be a grizzly bear. Her ability to perform a corporeal Patronus is based more upon how she feels, though, if she is happy enough, she can do so. Her Animagus form is one that she has attempted to work on since she was just a little girl at the age of eight, but her struggle to get there is extremely difficult, though she is practicing.
Magical Strengths: Transfiguration, charms, Magical dueling. She is also a bit more Muggle adept than some of the other wizards and witches she attends school with.
Magical Weaknesses: Anything that has more theory than practicality behind it, such as Divination, is something she happens to fail dismally at. Anything history related, whether that history be muggle or magical, is completely beyond her.
Other Abilities: She is incredibly good at technical things, such as math or some of the more numerically based sciences.
Wand Properties: 9.5", Cherry Wood, Ashwinder Ash, Swishy
Possessions: She owns a Nimbus 3000, given to her by her grandparents, as well as a small, gold pendant that seems to belong to some sort of necklace. The chain however, is not something she has. It currently lies at the bottom of her trunk, waiting for her to take it out and wear it.
~+History and Family Information+~
Family: Rebecca Holmes is her adopted mother. The woman works in the Ministry as a part of the Department of Magical Accidents and Catastrophes, and was also intensely an overachiever in school, which reflects as unintended disappointment when Rena does not achieve Outstanding's in just about everything. She knows nothing of Shiro and Hiroko Takeshi, her true parents, except the little her mother knows of them; they were distinguished Japanese Aurors who just were in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Pets: She owns a small screech owl by the name of Akira
History: Hitomi is a native of Japan, though where no one really knows but her long-dead parents. They died some time ago, when she was much too young to remember it, and thus are mostly forgotten by the girl. By random fluke, they died in England under some rather unfortunate circumstances (... darn those Muggle cars, getting in the way of everything), leaving Hitomi in the closest orphanage that the (decidedly Muggle) authorities could leave her, and sweeping the (rather strange) incident under the carpet, as neither Shiro nor Hiroko Takeshi seemed to be (Muggle) citizens of anything at all.
Now the girl was not that hard to find; she happened to be one of those 'weird ones' that none of the other kids would play with. In a Muggle community, someone who can randomly make things float and had this sudden ability to attract snakes (not that she got enough of a chance to figure out why) made her quite easily one to be picked on, and therefore called quite a bit of attention to herself. She stayed with a few Muggle families that she bounced around from when she was four and five, but none of them seemed all that interested in a girl who just had too many problems to count, and, with no way of knowing why the weird things happened when she was around (not to mention that she accidentally burned a house down from sneezing), she was sent right back to the orphanage.
At the age of six, she was adopted by a woman who seemed a little out of the ordinary in a Muggle community; the woman was slightly shorter than a lot of other random woman she had seen before, but demanded quite a bit of respect and wore peculiar clothing for someone coming out in the middle of broad daylight. The woman's name was Rebecca Holmes, and she was looking for a little girl who exhibited some rather strange behavior. After a few hours in the orphanage, Rebecca adopted the girl, and giving her the name Rena, a name they both thought was absolutely wonderful for her to have.
Even though she was not of age to learn much about wizarding, Rebecca began to expose Rena to different sorts of spells and even having her start slow work on focusing herself for her Animagus form; something Rebecca had achieved by the time she was a third year at Hogwarts. Clearly the pressure was on for the poor girl, who did attempt to study all she could about every subject that was thrown at her, trying to find her niche. She was fascinated by Transfiguration, and bored to tears by Divination. Much of the stuff she found she enjoyed had quite a bit of practical application behind it, making Rebecca excited for when she turned eleven and received the owl from Hogwarts. She was ready at that point, at least, according to her mother.
Her school years up till now were stress inducing. Her first year was one where she had to take all that knowledge she read about and apply it to practical usage. When her second year came along, she found that all the knowledge she had learned before in Hogwarts had shoved the rest of the knowledge she had read about out of her head, causing her to learn it all over again. Third and fourth year saw her working into overdrive merely because of her second year failure. She burned out during fifth year, opting to 'not care' until someone poked her to do something. However, she rounded out in sixth year, caring enough to get her work done, but not so much that she become extremely stressed by it all.
