Out of Character Rules
1. DO NOT DISRESPECT THE STAFF. They work to make the board fun for everyone, and it is therefore counterproductive to disrespect them in any sense. Staff are not hired to disrespect the members. Disrespect includes:
- Saying 'hi' through an instant message, email, or PM, and JUST saying 'hi.' If you have a reason to contact a staff member, then contact them, but saying 'hi' is a bad idea while they're helping members out.
- 'He said, she said.' If Bob said that an admin said that he could kill off your character (despite the fact that it's in the rules that he should not be able to), you had better read those rules and let us know! If we get a message from you asking if you can kill off Bob's character because he said that an admin said that he could kill off your character, we will not take that lightly and you will both get punished.
- 'I want to play Goku Pikachu, the Kind Hearted Slytherin from Planet Evangelion.' No, I do not expect we will get this deep into a strange request, but you get the point. Do not ask a staff member if you can do this, because you simply cannot.
- 'I hate this board.' Uhm, we aren't stopping you from being here.
2. No S.preading P.ointless A.nnoying M.essages, or SPAM. You will be warned ONCE before we ban you.
3. No flaming or bashing OF ANY SORT, whether it be about someone else's character or some other board, or some random thing.
4. The WHOLE BOARD has a rating of PG-13. This means no porn, excessive swearing, gratuitous violence, any of that. Visuals, audio, links, and written material above rated PG-13 will all be considered as BREAKING this rule.
5. Anything that goes COMPLETELY against proboards TOS is AGAINST THE RULES HERE. The below statements are taken from the Proboards' Terms of Service, found Here
Now bear in mind that this board has some rather strange topics going about. This being said, we do NOT in ANY WAY promote any of the above material (and there will be a disclaimer section explaining as such. If you are looking for a board like that, YOU WILL NOT FIND IT HERE (and hopefully not on proboards).
Anyone found violating this rule WILL BE BANNED. We do not tolerate ANY of this content.
6. Your account MUST be be the first name of your character, or the last name, whichever is easier for you to remember. The DISPLAYED NAME of your character MUST be your character's FIRST and LAST name. Every character must have their own account.
In Character Rules
1. This board is rated PG-13, in and out of character. Sexual activities will be IMPLIED or written merely in the FADE TO BLACK manner. Now, when it comes to things that are a little more sketchy in rating, such as violence or speaking about drugs, just think about what you would see in a PG-13 movie. We will allow descriptive violence, but we will NOT allow overly-gratuitous violence. If you are not sure what that means, write up what you want to write up and PM an administrator. They should be able to point out the difference to you.
2. If you DO NOT know what something is, look it up. Wikipedia is a good starter source for all things that a roleplayer might need, but if you do not like using Wikipedia, there are an insane number of online resources that you may use.
3. On terms of languages, any character may use ANY language. Do realize that some people just run their english words through a translator, so we have to pretend they said it right, even if the roleplayer just got it a tiny bit wrong. The following criteria MUST be followed when using foreign languages:
4. You must use proper spelling and grammar! Now, we are not English professors making sure every comma, period, and semi-colon are used appropriately, however, we do know enough about the basics to know what looks right and what looks wrong. Just ATTEMPT to use the proper spelling and grammar to the best of your ability, okay?
5. Every post must be 150 words long. There is a system installed on this board that will prevent you from posting less than 150 words on in character areas, but I want to emphasize this fact in the rules.
6. Characters are to be REGISTERED before ROLEPLAYED. This means we have to accept them. Character registration rules are in the Character Registration forum. You are allowed two characters at the start. When you want to apply for another character, both of your first character accounts must have 10 posts EACH account, making for twenty posts total (minimum). Another character after your third requires activity on your other three characters, and we do check this. Every other character after that is pretty much the same, so long as you can maintain them all.
7. No Godmodding. This means that your character is not the all-powerful, all-knowing, controls everyone else's character student/teacher/whatever. Every character has flaws, and if I see a triple backflip leading into an Killing Curse, I will personally triple flip-ban you myself.
8. No bunnying. This means ABSOLUTELY NO controlling other people's characters. Period. This ALSO includes killing off other people's characters. You must do it with their permission, and cannot just go around on a mass character murdering spree!
9. Your knowledge does NOT equal a Character's knowledge. That is called metagaming, and it is NOT tolerated.
THE RULES ENFORCED ARE NOT LIMITED TO JUST THIS LIST. THIS LIST IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE BASED UPON BOARD EXPERIENCE!

1. User's content must comply in a manner consistent with any and all applicable laws of the State of California and the US Federal Government.
2. User's web site may not contain content promoting the use of illegal drugs, alcohol, sex, pornography, nudity, or any other form of adult content, profanity, hate, "spam," fraud, racism, mlm, pyramid schemes, or promote any illegal activity.
3. User's message board and Web site must be in English

- You MUST write whatever language you use with the Latin based, modern English alphabet. That means 26-letters, A-Z. This is to help any programming issues that may arise as well as allow us to pull it through translators if some discrepancy comes up.
- YOU MUST PROVIDE A TRANSLATION. At the bottom (or top) of every post, it is required that you provide an English language translation of EVERYTHING your character says in another language. If you do not, we will hound you for it.
- Using other languages may only be used in dialogue or (sparingly!!!) in letters.
